GRANI is a software module dedicated to grain sizing assessment with image analysis tools upon standards recommandations.
GRANI allows image acquisition from digital or analog cameras (acq module required).
User's interface offers 3 different methods : Intercept,

Intercept method
Grain sizing is performed from the mean intercept length along a calibrated pattern (cross, lines, circle, 3 circles and
combinations).
Detection level of grain boundaries is displayed in real time. User
can manually modify each boundary improperly marked.

Image comparison
Compare live image (from digital or analog cameras) to reference chart in 3x3 or 1x1 image configuration.
In compliance with the standard, magnification is taken into account.
Frozen image and reference chart can be printed.

Report generator
Grani is supplied with a powerful report generator for printing professional documents through templates.
Templates include logo, Time/date, Standards, Sample informations, Statistical results and Images.
Reports can be printed, saved or exported as pdf files to third party.
