CAST IMAGER : Stand alone software for cast iron image analysis

cast iron nodularity Cast iron image analysis according to NF EN ISO 945 / NF A04-197

Cast Imager has been designed with cast iron industrial partners. This stand-alone software, Windows 2000/XP compatible, performs graphite nodularity analysis (Shape, size distribution) and ratio assessment of carbon, ferrite and perlite.
CAST IMAGER allows image acquisition from digital or analog cameras (acq module required).

phase analysis Accurate and reproducible results

Nodularity must be achieved on perfectly polished samples placed under a quality microscope.
Based on the highly reliable NF A04-197 standard CAST IMAGER provides user free results.
With Cast Imager you easily get :
-Shape distribution (class I to VI) and extra measurements for each class : Area fraction, Density/mm².
-Size distribution (class 1 to 8) and extra measurements for each class : Area fraction, Density/mm².
-Max nodule diameter (on all fields)
-Density (as total nodules type VI) /mm²
-Graphite mean ratio
-Ferrite mean ratio
-Perlite mean ratio (graphite corrected)
and more ...
